THANDA RED AND WHITE BEADED BASKET - STRAWBERRIES & CREAM

All Suzanne & Zondi MEDIUM baskets are called THANDA which means LOVE in Xhosa.

All Thanda baskets measure approximately 20 to 22 inches across.  This Thanda basket is unique with the pattern being intricately handwoven using traditional techniques and locally harvested materials such as wild grasses and reeds.  No dyes are used.   This beautifully woven design is complimented by thousands of red and white beads which embellish the circumference of the basket.
